Highland Springs Country Club partnered with Hood-Rich Architecture to design a space that extends the indoor clubhouse to the outdoors. To compliment the prairie style architecture of the clubhouse, Hood-Rich expanded the upper patio area, just outside of the banquet room, to allow enough space for a 20’ x 60’ portable tent along with additional exterior seating. A circular ramp was added to allow disabled guests access to the newly extended lower patio area where water and fire features, dining as well as comfortable seating and portable drink stations were added for guests to enjoy the indoor Lounge Nineteen, outdoors. The fabrics and finishes selected for the furniture were chosen to blend in with the surroundings of the beautiful golf course. A live edge wood communal table and stools were reclaimed from an onsite walnut tree.
